| Event Description: | LOCATION & TIME: Satellite Research and Development Centre-Lahore 0900-1600 hrs DESCRIPTION: Bilingual Debates will have two categories: Category 1: For Universities Category 2: For Schools Declamation contest among the participating schools and colleges/universities will be arranged in English and Urdu at Satellite Research and Development Centre-Lahore. |

| Report on the Results: | Category 1: Students from various local universities participated in the declamation contest. The whole event was divided in two sections i.e. English and Urdu. Two students from each university were invited to share their views, one for both sections. The students presented their views on both serious and humorous topics. Category 2: The English topic for Declamation Competition was “Next Generation is a Space Generation”, which was selected to acquaint the students with the basic knowhow about space and motivating them to think about future space explorations. Ms. Farwah Abass and Mr. Amin Haider: both CSP officers from 41st CTP with an extensive background of debates and public speaking invited as judges. The contest was initiated at about 09:30 hrs and it was interesting to see students of school level to come up with such quality debates and a great level of space related knowledge. Afterwards, results were announced and the winner and runner-up teams were awarded with trophies by the chief guest of the Event Mr. Jamshed Sharif Uppal, Director (admin). The judges were also presented the souvenirs by the worthy chief guest. The Urdu topic selected for Declamation Competition was “Khalaon ka safar naee ufaq kholey ga”, which aimed at acquainting students with the basic knowhow about space and space exploration. Hafiz Bilal Fazal Chughtai, Acting Deputy Director LDA and former President Literary Society UET Lahore, graced the occasion as judge. Mr. Ghilman Abbas, a Former debater of Superior University, was also there to judge the competition. The contest was initiated at about 09:30 hrs. The debates lasted for almost 2.5 hours. The refreshments were served at results were announced and the winner and runner-up teams were awarded with trophies by the chief guest, Mr. Jamshed Sharif Uppal, Director (Admin & Supp Dte). The judges were also presented with souvenirs by chief guest. |
