| Event Description: | WSW celebrations at Peshawar will formally commence with an opening ceremony that will be held at University of Engineering & Technology (UET). The ceremony shall start at 09:00 am and shall be followed by short seminars related to space technology. |

| Report on the Results: | WSW 2012 activities were started off with the impressive inauguration ceremony at UET Main Hall on 4th Oct 2012. Badr-I, Badr-II, Paksat-1R, and SLV model along with application projects posters were put on display for interest of students and faculty members. Mr. Khalid Khan, Additional Secretary Higher Education, Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the chief guest.Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani, VC UET welcomed the participants and Chief Guest while Mr. Ayaz Aziz, Member (R&I) gave a talk about WSW in Pakistan and SUPARCO contribution in Space. |
