| Event Description: | Gujarat Science City has a variety of activities for students, teachers and community members on the theme Space for education targeted to school and college students, teachers and community members to mark the World Space Week from 4th to 10th October 2009. The celebration will provide us an awareness and understanding about the space pavilion as well as to involve the students and visitors about the following activities: (i) Theme based illustrative poster exhibition for students, teachers and the general visitors to the Science City (ii) Guided tour to the school children in the Hall of Space and demonstration on various spacecrafts and launch vehicles that we have. (iii) Screening of space science related films in Auditorium I (iv) Student competition: elocution, essay, puzzle and drawing competition on the above theme, at Hall of Space and Auditorium I (v) Interactive session / Popular science lectures by the scientists For children |
